| Seramas were developed in the state of Kelantan, Malaysia. They are the result of crossing some local bantams there, including what is believed to be Japanese (Chabo). Seramas are the smallest chicken in the world. Malaysian Seramas have three classes in wich they are rated. A,B & C Class A Seramas are very small and light weight, and as such are regarded as the smallest and lightest chickens in the world. Seramas are small, but they do quite well in colder climates as long as they have shelter from the wind and rain and snow. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions about the Seramas or any of our birds. |
